The Oil & Gas Awards announced this year’s annual Midcontinent Oil & Gas Awards recipients in recognition of those companies who excel in the key areas of Health &     Safety, Operational Excellence, Innovation, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Stewardship.

LONDON, UK, Oct. 30, 2014 /News Release/ – Hearn Trucking, LLC attended the 2014 Midcontinent Oil & Gas Awards and received the Kenworth Truck Company Trucking       Company of the Year Awardon October 29, 2014. The annual Midcontinent gala ceremony was held at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel, Oklahoma City, OK, where hundreds of oil           and gas executives gathered together to celebrate Operational Excellence, innovations in technology, CSR, Health & Safety and Environmental Stewardship.

The Kenworth Truck Company Trucking Company of the Year Award recognizes the vital role that haulage services provide to the oil and gas industry in the region. Trucking companies providing transportation of, but not limited to, production aggregates, fluids, equipment, oilfield infrastructure and hydrocarbons will be rewarded for their ability to overcome exceptional logistical challenges. They have also shown strong corporate performance, consistent records of project delivery and solid performance to HSE, contributions to CSR and on-going commitments to mitigating environmental impact. Hearn Trucking, LLC scored the most points in the category with such comments from the judging panel as:

“Commitment to safety while delivering the product on time, educating others about safety and logistics, and strong retention (over 75% of employees have worked there for 5+ years) set them apart from others.”“A great family company that provides sprawling trucking services to the industry. Mr. Hearn and his team have worked hard to create a beautiful Truck Honoring all those fighting Breast Cancer.

The 2013 Midcontinent Oil & Gas Awards were presented on Tuesday night (10/29/2013) at a captivating gala dinner and awards ceremony in the Sam Noble Special Events Centre, National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, Oklahoma City, OK.

The evening began with the finalists showcase gallery and champagne reception before the Guest of Honor, Secretary of Energy and Environment, Michael Teague, gave a thought-provoking speech to the assembled crowd of hundreds of senior oil & gas industry executives.

The votes have been collected and counted for the 2013 Midcontinent Oil & Gas Awards. The judges of the awards, made up of 52 leading industry executives, have reviewed over 400 entries from around 250 companies. Winners will be announced at the inaugural 2013 Midcontinent Oil & Gas Awards gala dinner, held at the Sam Noble Convention Center, National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, Oklahoma City, OK, on October 29.
